Football and Fellowship @ Forest Park, September 25th, 2021

 

Continuing the theme of teamwork mixed with athletics, the Alpha Mentoring Program along with The Village were out at Forest Park  Saturday morning where we  played a couple of games of football and had a discussion with the young men about the importance of teamwork. Tickets to the Cardinals baseball game were given out at as the day concluded.

St. Louis Art Festival in Clayton, MO-Fundraiser 9-11-2021 & 9-12-2021

 The Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation had a booth at the Clayton Art Festival in Clayton, MO. This was to raise funds for the Charitable Foundation for the weekend on September 11th and September 12th.

CareSTL Opioid Awareness Walk/Run at The Muny in Forest Park August 28th,2021. This event was led by Deneen Busby who is the CareSTL Director of Marketing and Communication.

AMP/The Village Bike riding Activity 8-14-2021

The Village  in collaboration with the Alpha Mentoring Program Bike Riding Event Starting at the Chain of Rocks Bridge in Granite City, Illinois on the morning of Saturday, August 14th 2021 at 10am.

 

2nd Annual Fishing Derby @ St. Ferdinand Park 7-24-2021

 This is from the second Annual Fishing Derby event.  This was held on Saturday, July 24th at St. Ferdinand Park in Florissant, MO.  The event was sponsored by Peace and Progress, a non-profit organization that promotes fishing and other wildlife activities.  The Village/Alpha Mentoring Program was also involved.  

At this event, we had several young adults fishing on the lake along with their parents/mentors.  It was a well-attended, well-organized event.
